This Head, Neck, and Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Treatment Planning Series session will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. Attendance will only be available through Zoom.
CME Information
Needs Statement
Head and neck surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, neuroradiologists, head and neck pathologists, and speech therapists need to be regularly updated with new research and guidelines regarding the evaluation and multidisciplinary management of head and neck cancer and implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and improve patient outcomes.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the sessions, the participants should be able to:
- Identify complications following head and neck cancer therapy.
- Implement patient-specific treatment plans for patients with head and neck cancer including, but not limited to surgical therapies, systemic therapies, radiotherapy, or clinical trials.
- Assess the diagnostic study needs of patients with head and neck cancer.
- Implement treatment strategies to improve quality-of-life outcomes following head and neck cancer therapies.
